The 3M™ Peltor™ LiteCom Plus headset is designed for use in tough and noisy environments. With noise-cancelling microphone and hands-free radio communication these Peltor ear defenders combine comfort and wearability with functionality for improved efficiency within your workplace operations.

These high-performance hearing protectors have an SNR (single number rating) of 32 decibels (dB) and built-in two-way radio communication with a clear 1 kilometre range. A powerful Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery allows for 20 hours operating life.

You can work safely and efficiently in even the most demanding environments with these tough and rugged Peltor ear defenders. The built-in dynamic microphone is noise-cancelling and provides voice operated transmissions (VOX). The headset allows two-way conversations across multiple parallel channels (up to 8 channels and 121 sub-channels). When speaking the microphone will effectively filter out any background noises so they can be heard clearly.

Are ear muffs as effective as ear plugs?

For ear protection in high noise environments, ear plugs can offer a more complete level of noise reduction. However, ear muffs have advantages in that they don't have to be fit inside the ear, and so can be more comfortable, economic and hygienic.
