RS PRO Caliper 200 mm 0.02 mm Resolution Dial, Metric

Introducing the range of metric dial calipers from RS PRO. These calipers are ideal for measuring with great accuracy and little error. The dial caliper is known for its precision, even down to the nearest 0.03 millimetres. It works by using adjustable jaws for accurate measurements of the dimensions of objects, with the measurement shown on the analogue dial. The dial rotates and can be locked for zero error. A thumbwheel offers ease of operation for fine adjustment, and a knurled lockscrew locks jaws as required.

RS PRO Metric Dial Calipers, also known as callipers are suitable for use in a wide range of applications including general workshops and machine shops. They are used for precision measurements for example measuring the dimensions of objects.

Calipers offer more accurate measurements of difficult to measure items. A caliper for example would be used where using a ruler or another measuring tool would not provide a precise measurement.

Zero adjustments are used in measurement to ensure that the output is an accurate predictable and repeatable function of their input.
