RS PRO Black 2.5 mm² Test Lead Wire, 13 AWG, 462/0.08 mm, 5m, Silicone Rubber Insulation

This tough test lead wire from the RS PRO range lets you safely use monitoring equipment in harsh environments. It can withstand high-temperatures and contact with radiation or oils.

The core consists of 462 tinned annealed stranded copper conductors. These are surrounded by a black silicone rubber outer sheath that's both flexible and hardwearing. It can endure extremes of heat and cold without cracking or melting. That means this cable is safe to use at temperatures ranging from -55°C to +200°C. The wire has a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm², an outer diameter of 3.9 mm and is available in a length of 5 metres.

The cable conforms ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, meaning it's flame-retardant and halogen-free, so it won't release toxic gas in the event of a fire. It's an ideal choice for machine manufacturing or chemical industries.
