RS Components Launches 5th Annual Chinese Catalogue
With more than 14,000 NEW products

RS Components (RS), the leading global catalogue distributor of electronic, electromechanical and industrial products in Asia, announces the launch of their 5th RS Chinese Language Catalogue.
MORE PRODUCTS
This catalogue is the largest ever with 36% more products for a total of nearly 50,000 products. We are introducing new technologies such as wireless and displays as well as adding new products to our range of electronic, electromechanical and process control automation and support tools (including test & measurement). We offer an additional 150,000 products from the US and UK available exclusively on our website.
IMPROVED SERVICE
Along with this catalogue we are rolling-out our Same Day Offer across China. All products in our catalogue are held in our warehouse - the largest stock range in China. When customers in China place an order with RS, their shipment will be dispatched to them on the same day. We process thousands of orders a day in China and every time, customers can be assured of reliable, timely delivery from RS.
INCREASED INVESTMENT
"To better serve our Chinese customer base - which is increasing by 50% year-on-year from 18,000 - we are setting up two new regional offices in China near Tianjin and Dongguan to complement our existing 7 offices," said Richard Huxley, Regional General Manager of RS Asia Pacific.
RS is also setting up a second warehouse in Shanghai to support the distribution of local Chinese products. "By continually improving our product range and stock levels, including locally sourced products, we give our customers the greatest choice" states Huxley. "We offer engineers in China the latest technology products along with reliable delivery and technical support to be on a par with their counterparts in Europe and the US."
The RS commitment to exceed the needs of engineers in China has enabled the company to achieve a leading position in the market. "We have invested USD58M in China on a management team, offices, warehouses and inventory over the last 10 years" explains Ian Mason, CEO of Electrocomponents, the holding company of RS Components. "As China grows, so do we," adds Mason. The Group reports year-on-year sales growth of over 20% in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan."
